About the Mentor

A researcher who has
walked the path.

I am Dr. Harsh Kumar, a biophysicist currently at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai. I completed my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore — one of India's most prestigious research institutions.

During my research journey, I have worked with advanced microscopy, protein biochemistry, and live-cell imaging across three countries. I know what it takes to get into top research programmes, crack fellowships like KVPY and INSPIRE, and build a scientific career from scratch.

SciGuidance was born from a simple belief: every curious student deserves a mentor who has actually done the science.
